The Story of
BLOW MOLDING PLASTIC
The blow molding plastic is made of low-density polyethylene (LDPE). LDPE is flexible, tough, and relatively transparent. It has good chemical resistance, excellent electrical insulating properties, and is resistant to moisture. LDPE is commonly used in packaging material, such as plastic bags, shrink wrap, and stretch film.

Remove any non-recyclable components
Make sure it is empty and clean,
rinse if necessary
Allow the bags to dry completely
AFTER RECYCLING
Shredded into small pieces
Fed into an extruder machine to heat and pressure to melt the LDPE
Poured the melt LDPE into a strand
Washed to remove any remaining impurities, dirt, or chemicals and then dried to eliminate moisture

Cut the cooled strands into uniform lengths
