Established in 2019, THE LOOPS is a leading one-stop recycling center in Hong Kong, tackling resource misallocation by offering a closed-loop door-to-door collection network.
We collect over 40 types of recyclables, categorize them, and deliver them to recycling facilities or shops for reuse.
Our inclusive model empowers disadvantaged homemakers with flexible work opportunities, contributing to both their families and society. Embracing the circular economy, THE LOOPS transforms waste into valuable resources, ensuring a sustainable future.
Founder - Jorch Wong
The story begins with Jorch finding recycling too troublesome. Not only does it involve sorting, but also making regular trips to recycling centers.
The closest center at the time was about a 45-minute journey away. In the scorching summer heat, this back and forth became even more unbearable. In the hustle and bustle of city life, it was increasingly challenging to keep up with recycling.
Therefore, Jorch made a vow to establish a recycling system tailored for Hong Kong residents. Through a one-stop recycling service, the aim is to encourage more people to participate in recycling. Starting from oneself, little by little, bringing about change for one's own home.

Our sorting center is about 3,500 square feet and can handle over 200 tons of recyclables annually.
